Heads-Up about the game: These game might be too challenging for others to the point of it being infuriating. Personally, I got kicked hard by this game so many times, I had to take a break from it before I tried again. I do not mind it though because it is fun, but I also understand that many people stop having fun when they come across a game they struggle with. You have to multitask and think fast. It took a 3rd time playing the game before I got used to the gameplay. If you do not mind the challenge then by all means go ninja up on this game>:o!!!
Update: The developer added an Easy mode. So if you find yourself struggling on normal, try easy until you get used to the game mechanics. First Impression and Gameplay Sometimes, being innovative can become an obstacle towards itself because it becomes too complex. This can be an issue with Dungeon Hearts for others. Thankfully, the game offers a useful and detailed tutorial to help you out. The tutorial didn't leave me crying to fend for myself like other tutorials. It actually paused the game for me to do the things I was being taught to do so that I can absorb it well. I was really grateful for that because it IS a strategy game, so I had to remember, multitask, and react fast when I eventually played the game. The visuals itself is cute with the four little chibi anime heroes that you will be using. How the battle looked reminded me of Theatrhythm Final fantasy (heck the music kind of reminds me of FF as well) Those that played that fun music game, check out the picture below you'll see why. The battle system of FFs Theatrhythm Just like in Theatrhythm, your heroes are lined up on one side in a cartoon chibi art style while the enemy is on the other, ferocious and beastly, but also in a cute cartoon art style. However, the similarities are pretty much only visually, gameplay isn't.
